Olelo Intelligence, Inc.
Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on olelo.ai, On Deck (ondeck.olelo.ai) and our platform sign-up site (signup.olelointelligence.com). It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly, including in section 9.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others measure how the site is used or help show relevant ads. A first-party cookie is set by olelo.ai; a third-party cookie is set by another company's service that runs on our pages.
2. Your Choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies for measuring visits and for showing you Olelo ads on other sites.
- Accept: analytics and advertising cookies may be set, as listed in section 3.
- Decline: only the cookie that remembers your choice is set. Google tags then run in a restricted mode that sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and Google may receive limited, cookieless information about the page request. If you had accepted before, our visit-source cookie is deleted.
You can change your choice at any time with the Change your cookie choice button at the top of this page. Your choice applies across olelo.ai and ondeck.olelo.ai and is kept for 180 days, after which we ask again. Our platform sign-up site, signup.olelointelligence.com, is on a different domain, so it shows its own cookie banner and keeps its own olelo-consent cookie for that site; it uses the same analytics and advertising tools listed below, set only after you accept there. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as expected.
3. Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary (always on)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
olelo-consent | Olelo | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so the banner doesn't ask again on every page. Set separately on olelo.ai (shared with ondeck.olelo.ai) and on signup.olelointelligence.com. | 180 days |
Analytics (only after Accept)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Counts visits and tells one visitor from another, so we can see which pages are used and how visitors arrived. | Up to 2 years |
ph_*_posthog | PostHog (PostHog Inc., US) | Measures how pages are used and which actions visitors take, such as submitting a form. | 1 year |
olelo_attr | Olelo | Remembers how you first and last arrived (for example, the ad, search or link) and which product pages you viewed, so a request you send us shows its source. | 90 days |
Advertising (only after Accept)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Google Ads (Google LLC) | Links a visit to the Google ad that brought you, so we can measure which ads lead to demo requests. | 90 days |
| Google advertising cookies on Google's own domains (such as doubleclick.net) | Google LLC | Shows Olelo ads to past visitors on Google Search, YouTube and sites in the Google Display Network. | Set by Google, typically up to 13 months |
_fbp, _fbc | Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) | Measures visits from our Facebook and Instagram ads and shows Olelo ads to past visitors there. | 90 days |
li_fat_id, li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory | LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation) | Measures visits from our LinkedIn ads and shows Olelo ads to past visitors on LinkedIn. | 1 day to 1 year |
We will update this list before we add any other analytics or advertising tool.
4. Other Storage on Your Device
- Local storage: a copy of your cookie choice (
olelo-consent), so it carries over if the cookie is cleared. - Session storage:
olelo_attrholds how you arrived for the current visit only and is cleared when you close the tab. It is saved as a cookie only after you accept. - Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts page visits without cookies or local storage and does not track you across sites.
5. Embedded Tools
Some pages embed tools from other companies so you can act without leaving the site: the Calendly scheduler for booking a demo and HubSpot forms for sending a request. These tools may set cookies they need to work, such as security and session cookies, under their own policies. HubSpot's visitor-tracking cookies are not used on olelo.ai.
6. Opting Out of Personalized Ads
Besides declining on our banner, you can manage personalized ads directly with the companies that serve them:
- Google: https://adssettings.google.com, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/
- LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out
- Many ad companies at once (Network Advertising Initiative): https://optout.networkadvertising.org
7. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change, and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we add a new kind of cookie that needs your consent, we will ask again.
